Some Nitty Gritty on Product Packaging

Did you know that according to the Recycling Council of Ontario, by the age of 6 months, the average Canadian has consumed the same amount of resources as the average person in the developing world would consume in a lifetime.

Although necessary for preservation, health & safety purposes, among other things, packaging is often required. However, it takes alot of resources and energy to create product packaging, that is often thrown away after just one use. Think of the time, energy and resources that go into the production of packaging and many types of packaging are difficult to reuse or recycle at all.
